Do you have a clear idea of the type of web presence you need but don't have the time to create and maintain a website for your business or book?

If you have a clear idea of the type of Web Property needed, this section will guide you through the next steps to getting online.

Everyone has an idea but, not everyone is willing to do what it takes to manifest that idea. Although we're all creators, the sad fact is that most do not see themselves as such. For this reason, it is easy to separate creators into two categories: Unintentional and Deliberate.

An unintentional creator is one who creates without giving much thought or purpose. self-causing accidents and making reoccurring mistakes are just 2 examples that may classify one as an unintentional creator. A deliberate creator is one who creates with much contemplation, passion, AND on purpose.

Ideas should never be ignored no matter how big or small, nor should they be ignored because it sounds crazy to everyone but the creator of the idea. Ideas should never be ignored because the creator doesn't have the skills or tools that can help them to manifest that idea. GriotSites is here to help. Our specialty is tapping into one's vision, creating a web file blueprint of that vision, and developing a beautiful, fully function, and user-friendly Web Development that reflects the Web Property Owner and business.

First thing's first! Do you have your Domain Name or do you need to grab one?

A Domain Name will become your actual web address once you establish a Web Property online. If you do not currently have a registered Uniform Resource Locator (URL), you can grab one through us below. If you already have a registered Domain Name, either redirect or transfer your URL to GriotSites. The best thing about registering your domain with us is that you will have access to your account for total domain name control - even if you decide to host your Web Property elsewhere.

Next. Do you have content for your new Web Property?

Content is the boss that can make or break your online presence. If you are just looking to be social online, social medias will do the trick for you. You can post ads here and there and hope that someone becomes interested enough to contact you, but, without a large fan base in place - your ad could soon find itself in a sea of "onliners" who are posting ads too. So, the only question you need to ask yourself is "how big is your fan base?" If you are just starting your social media presence for your business, there is a good chance that you do not have a large social media fan base (but) there are acceptations to the rule.

If you are looking to create your own platform to present to web suffers and potential customers/clients a product or service, content creation is a crucial component to a good web presence and must be given some serious thought beforehand. A Web Property allows for the "all eyes on me" phrase to come to life. There are no outside ads crowding out your space or stealing your spotlight. Your own Web Property will reflect your personality and represent your business.

Things to Gather for your Web Property Developer.

Getting content prepared for the your Web Development before meeting with a Developer is the recommended step, but even after you meet with us, additional items may be added to your list of what to gather. During your consultation, you will be asked about the content you currently have as well as given suggestions on what you will need if applicable. Here is a short list to get you started, but as you complete your Online Web Checklist, more ideas will come to you regarding what to gather for your Web Developer.

🖈 Keywords
A list of at least 20 words that best describes your business idea. Do a Google keyword search to see popular keywords or terms that best describe your business
🖈 Images
🖈 Product information such as title names, prices, descriptions, etc.
🖈 Contact/Company information
🖈 Notes from 3 competitor's Web Properties on what you like and dislike about their development.
🖈 Complete and submit the online web checklist.
🖈 Read and electronically sign the contractual agreement between you and GriotSites.

What happens after we receive your Web Property Checklist?

Once we receive and process your checklist, a Web Development Specialist (WDS) will contact you by email to schedule a 15-minute web consultation. During the consultation, the WDS will briefly discuss the information that you submitted on your online checklist. This will be a good time to ask any questions that you may have regarding GriotSites products and services.

During the consultation, you will be asked a series of questions pertaining to your checklist responses. Many Clients have a good idea of what they want their Web Property to do such as play videos, collect new lead information, etc., but, they don't know if what they want is the best for their online presence. The consultation session is to pinpoint the main focus of the future Web Property (website).

What happens after the consultation call?

After we gather up all of the information we need to tap into your vision, our Web Property Developers will put on their hard hats and get to work. During this process, we may have questions or concerns about the content that you've submitted to us. If we do, we will contact you via email requesting clarity. This is a very important step because your feedback may be the very thing that is holding up your development.

All Web Developing projects are on a 30-day contract. This means that we have 30-days to
Gather. Develop. Launch.

Gather: Collecting the content we need to create a beautiful, user-friendly Web Property.

Develop: Creating webpages (files) with the content submitted by the future Web Property Owner.

Launch: Publishing the webpages to the internet so that it is visible to the public.

Getting your first demo of your new Web Development.

Our Web Developers will create a sample called a "site demo" for you to review and provide feedback. During the review, you will be inspecting the design and layout of the Web Property more than the content. The content will be edited once the layout is approved by you. The site demo phase is ONLY to establish the look and feel of the site and has to be approved before moving on to the next phase of editing content. The main things to check for during the site demo stage are:

🖈 Check that the desired colors were used.
🖈 Check the layout of the site demo.
🖈 Check that the webpage names are correct.

What happens next after you approve your site demo.

After you've approved your site demo, the site developers will go through each webpage adding or editing the content. During this stage, you and your web developer will go back and forth creating the right content for your Web Property. The content is collected from you unless you wish for us to help you write and gather your content such as images, policies, etc. There are a few things to keep in mind during this stage:

🖈 Site layout or design cannot be changed/modified once you've approved the site demo.
🖈 Be available to correspond with your web developer in a timely manner should questions or concerns arise.
🖈 Clear up all fees (unless you are on a payment plan).

Get Ready, Set, Launch!

Now that you've approved your webpage files, cleared up your balance, and discussed your maintenance plans with your web developer, your files will be uploaded/published to the World Wide Web making it visible and accessible to the public.
